SHINPIDEN - Mystery Teachings - Reiki Level 3a

This advanced Reiki  training is available to reiki practitioners who are committed to continuing their reiki journey and want to explore the deeper spiritual aspects of Reiki.  

Soul Tree's Reiki Masters training is very different from what you will find elsewhere. Sirpa passes on her deep lived experience of energy work and incorporates knowledge from the yoga wisdom traditions. 

Our first Reiki Masters in 2022 had 15 participants (pictured above) and the energy, authenticity, sharing and growth experienced was mind blowing. Sirpa offers you the chance to become part of a close knit reiki community with guidance and on going support.

Level 3a is offered once per year as a 2 day and one night retreat at the Sharda Centre in South Auckland with accommodation available and once a year in Christchurch (no accomodation).
This  intensive weekend includes theory and a large practical component where you will be both giving and receiving reiki treatments. The course component includes:
• Reiki, reiki and more reiki - the chance to give and receive.
• Opportunity to connect and share your experience with likeminded souls
• Exploring reiki as a spiritual discipline
• Receiving an authentic Reiki Master Attunement
• An initiation into the Reiki Master symbol
• How to scan yourself and others to identify energy blockages or disturbances
• Connecting with your Higher Self and techniques for raising your energy levels 
• Clearing the energy of spaces
• Discussion about the ethics and responsibilities of a Reiki Master
- Reiki Master Commitment Ceremony and Celebration. 

 Prerequisites: Completed Reiki level 2 in the Usui tradition at least 6 months prior to this training and recorded at least 20 reiki treatments that you have given.

Investment: $450 ($200 deposit on booking) and balance payable before the start). Includes dinner and Reiki Commitment Ceremony

For the Auckland course accommodation is available at Sharda Centre for $50 per night. If you have already completed Reiki 3a with Soul Tree you are welcome to join this weekend for $180 (cost price to cover Sharda centre and meals).

Continuing study pathways: After completing Reiki level 3a you can continue your studies to become a Reiki Master Teacher by completing level 3b. There is no formal course, rather this is offered as one-on-one training / mentoring on request.

A 2 day  training program taught by Sirpa & Yuliya for those who have completed Reiki Level I and II and wish to advance to the Master level. We cover advanced Reiki symbols, attunements, Usuis original techniques. Reiki commitment ceremony and lots of hands on practice


Venue: Mary Potter Centre in Christchurch


Times: Fri 12.30pm to 8.00pm and Sat 10am to 5 pm


Cost: $450 includes shared dinner on Friday.

Option to attend Reiki in Healthcare training on Sunday 12th for $50 (save $200)

24 & 25 May 2026

A 2 day retreat at Sharda centre taught by Sirpa with accomodation available.  For those who have completed Reiki Level I and II and wish to advance. We cover advanced Reiki symbols, attunements, Usuis original techniques. Reiki commitment ceremony and lots of hands on practice

Times: Sat 10am to 7.30pm and Sun 10am to 4.30pm

About Sharda Centre

Dates:  23 & 24 May 2026

Sharda Centre in Tuakau just 40 mins drive south of Auckland central. An extra nights accommodation is available if you are travelling for the weekend at $50per night. It is simple but very clean and well maintained.


The Reiki Master 3a courses are held at Sharda Centre for a reason. This is sacred land, a place of peace and  power - where the energy of the earth is literally palpable. Receiving your Master attunement in such a place is a great blessing and privilege. It really deepens the experience, raises your personal vibrational energy, strengthens your connection to Reiki energy ... bringing  you that little bit closer to your soul.


If you are based outside of Auckland it is well worth the trip for the Maters weekend in May each year as this is an experience like no other in New Zealand.


Meet your instructor

Courses are led by Sirpa, a Reiki Master Teacher, Yoga Instructor and Mum to 2 boys. 


Sirpa teaches with humility and compassion and believes everybody can (and should!) learn reiki as a path to personal growth and spiritual development. Sirpa is happy to have a chat and answer any questions about this course or Reiki in general.

6 months since level 2 attunement (in the Usui Tradition) and a record of at least 20 Reiki treatments given.

This is a practical course completed one to one with Sirpa. You will get to prepare your course materials, gain experience and confidence teaching reiki and benefit from 1 to 1 mentorship.
